 Alternatives to PayPal
My thanks to those who have posted on the forum, and have sent me email, to name many alternatives to PayPal. Please note that I have not checked any of these out -- and in most cases, neither have my correspondents. So this is not an endorsement or recommendation for any of these services. It's merely a starting place for your research.

Forum posters have suggested GPal, Moneybookers, and GoldMoney.

The Screw PayPal website has a page reviewing alternatives (be sure to click through the link at the bottom to more alternatives). Some of the recommended services are MoneyBookers.com, ProPay.com, AllPay.net, Neteller.com, Ikobo.com, AlertPay.com, and MoneyGram.com.

The WebDistortion blog lists "17 paypal alternatives for easier e-commerce." (Of which five receive comment, four get "notable mention," and nine are listed without comment. Yes, that's a total of 18.)

This "PayPal alternatives" question is being discussed on this Yahoo group, with nine possibilities named.

Again, I have no personal experience or knowledge of any of these services. You'll need to perform your own "due diligence" before using any of them. Caveat emptor.

Update, 10 Dec: I've just learned that Moneybookers cut off Wikileaks some time ago, so scratch them from the list.
