If you're one of the people who is now storing your entire music collection on your iPod, you may want to back it up to your home computer. It appears that a number of iPods (in the UK at least) have failed after roughly one year of use. The disturbing part is that Apple says that one year is the life expectancy of an iPod, and if yours snuffs it after that, tough luck.

One more reason, in my view, to not buy an iPod.
