Update on Vince Miller
Show your support:
Late last night, I received the following update on the condition of Vince Miller, founder and head of International Society of Individual Liberty
ISIL:
The doctor called us a few minutes ago. What we were told was that Vince got worse over night but that they were able to stabilize him. However, they said they are "very worried" about his condition. I take that to be hospital code to imply we should prepare for very sad news. Throughout this ordeal Vince's odds have been deteriorating. But that does not mean that the worst inevitable. But the odds of this being the case are significantly higher than they were a week ago. They are still waiting for the lab to return the results of the biopsy. There are several facts here that have to be considered.
It is possible that Vince's pneumonia is a particularly virulent kind. On the other hand we have to remember that Vince is almost 70 years old. This illness really weakened him over the last few weeks. Add that to his age and the risk escalates dramatically.
