Reader D.K. comments on a
Wall Street Journal article with the headline "Boulder's Naked Halloween Streak May Be Coming to an End. Runners Are Out of Their Gourds, Wearing Just a Pumpkin; Police Chief Calls It a Crime."
D.K. writes, "The police chief of Boulder shows how otherwise crime-free his city must be as he deploys *two* SWAT teams to arrest Naked Halloween Pumpkin Runners AS SEX OFFENDERS (it isn't illegal to be nude in public in Boulder) over the objection of the Mayor. Two *SWAT* teams. [Note: that's more than 40 men.] To arrest participants in a peaceful, silly event which has gone on just once a year for a decade without previous trouble."
