My Republican is better than your Republican
 Show your support:
Folks over at Free-Market News Network seem to be upset that Cato Institute favors Republican Presidential candidate Fred Thompson over his rival Ron Paul: CATO again favor Thompson over Ron Paul.. (The bad grammar and the misspelling of Cato as an acronym is in the FMNN original.) So now we have in-fighting between libertarians on who has the best Republican? And bitter in-fighting at that. A typical comment on the FMNN feedback: I urge all CATO members to withdraw their memberships. When the Libertarian think-tank doesn't support Ron, you know something is up. Cato is in with the corruption!! Thompson?? They shouldn't be supporting anyone if they don't support Paul! A total disgrace! It is an amazing sight. Two allegedly libertarian factions who are both functioning as de facto Republicans are calling each other non-libertarian for not functioning correctly as Republicans. In fairness, I haven't read similar statements from Cato which, by the way, is named after the Roman statesman Cato the Younger.
